Biographies

Ellie Chandler performed her first solo recital at Symphony Hall in Birmingham at the age of 18, performing works by Beethoven, Schubert and Frank Bridge, among others.

Since beginning her studies at Dartington College of Arts in Devon in 2005, she has specialized in music of the past fifty years.

Mike McInerney lectures in music at the University of Plymouth. Before becoming an academic, he was a freelance pianist and piano teacher, playing in bars and cabaret bands, as well as presenting numerous recitals in and around his home city of York.

In 1997, he was a highly commended runner-up in the finals of the E. P. T. A. Pianist of the Year competition in London.
